JustAddCommerce License Manager

The JustAddCommerce License Manager allows you to maintain and manage multiple licenses. Scroll down for more information about the features of the JAC License Manager, using the JAC License Manager for the first time, using the License Manager with Multiple JAC Licenses, or removing a JAC License from your License Manager.General License Manager features:

  New License

JustAddCommerce allows you to install multiple licenses on one machine. To install a new license and/or previous license to your machine click this button. You are able to have both registered and demo versions on one machine!

  Rename License

When JustAddCommerce is first installed on your machine it asks you to enter the company name or web site of the owner and user of the license. If you need to rename the license click this button. A pop up box will appear where you will enter the new name.

  Remove License

If any licenses need to be removed from your system simply click on the license and then the trash can button. A confirmation pop up screen will appear alerting you to confirm your selection.

  Purchase and Unlock License

If you are using a demo version of JAC and want to purchase and activate the license click this button. The order page for JustAddCommerce will appear in your browser. Choose what version you want to purchase. You will find that the JAC Serial Number appears in the description of your shopping cart.

  Check License Status

There is no limit to the number of licenses that can be installed on one machine. Because of this JAC was programmed with a Check License Status feature. This feature will display if the license is registered or if it is a demo version.  The Status will only appear after the JAC Account is accessed.

  Set Current License

The Set Current button helps manage the multiple licenses installed on your machine. Simply click on the license number you want to work with and then the Set Current button. A pop up confirmation box will appear to confirm your selection. Click Yes to confirm. The current license will now be highlighted in blue. You are now able to work on this license.

Registered Users Accessing the JAC License Manager for the first time

Once JustAddCommerce has been installed on your machine you must install the JAC Serial Number given to you at the time of purchase.   To do this you need to access the JAC License Manager. The License Manager allows you to maintain and manage all of your copies of JAC. Important: Because you have a purchased serial number you are considered an "Existing User" in the New User Set Up screen.

When you install JAC for the first time:

1. Launch JustAddCommerce.
2. Click on the JAC Admin Icon (triangle shaped icon).
3. Select the JAC License Manager option.
4. You will see the "New User Setup" screen.
5. Next to the default "New User" drop down menu there is an arrow.  Click this arrow to activate the drop down menu and select the "Existing User" option.  Note: It is very important that you select this option.  If you do not select this option you will be installing a demo version on your machine.
6. When you select the "Existing User" option, the Serial Number field opens up which allows you to manually  enter the JAC Serial Number given to you at the time of purchase. Make sure you enter the 16 digit serial number exactly as it was given to you at the time of purchase.
7. Enter your Company name in the space provided.
8. Click "OK"
9. You will now see the installed license appear in the "Current License" screen.
10. With your cursor, highlight the serial number in the "Current License" screen.  Click the blue checkmark found in the upper right hand corner to verify that status as "Registered." 

Using the JAC License Manager with Multiple Licenses

JustAddCommerce allows you to install multiple licenses on your computer. You can even have a Registered and Demo License installed at the same time. It is important however, that when you want to switch between the different licenses installed on your machine, you access the JAC License Manager to Select and "Set Current" the JAC License (Serial Number) that you want to work on. If you do not Select and "Set Current" the specific JAC License that you desire to work on, you may do work on the wrong account. 

To add Multiple Licenses to the License Manager:

1. Launch JustAddCommerce.
2. Click on the JAC Admin icon (the triangle shaped icon).
3. Select the JAC License Manager option.
4. If you are installing a Registered License, select the "Add Previous License" radio button.
   If you are installing a Demo License, simply enter your Company name in the space provided and click the green check mark.
5. The Serial Number field will open up, allowing you to enter your JAC Serial Number.
6. Enter your Company name in the space provided.
7. Click on the Green Check Mark.
8. In the License Manager you will now see your multiple JAC License numbers.
9. To select the License you want to work with, double click the desired License.
10. A pop-up window will ask if you want to make the selected License the Current License. Click Yes.
11. To switch between multiple Licenses when working, repeat steps # 9 and # 10.

Removing a License from your JAC License Manager

When you have multiple licenses installed on your computer, you may have a need to remove a particular license. Rather than un-installing the JAC Program to remove a particular license, individual licenses can be removed easily by using the JAC License Manager.

To Remove a JAC License:

1. Launch JustAddCommerce.
2. Click on the JAC Admin icon (triangle shaped icon).
3. Select the JAC License Manager option.
4. Double click on a License that you do not want to remove.
5. Set the selected License as your Current License. (This ensures that the License you want to remove is not set as the Current License.)
6. Click on the JAC License Number that you want to remove. Make sure it is highlighted.
7. Click on the Trash Can icon found below the Current License tab.
8. A pop-up window will appear confirming that you want to remove the License.
9. Click yes.
10. The License number will no longer appear in your License Manager.
