**Error: Please click your browser's back button and then click
the Checkout Button again.***
This error
will appear if your checkout form has been uploaded to the
JAC Networks incorrectly. Some causes for uploading the form
incorrectly:
-
The JAC Serial Number on the Checkout form does not match
the JAC Serial Number of the account you are uploading
the checkout form to, or if the JAC serial number does
not appear on the form. To correct the problem, make sure
the Serial Number of the Checkout form is the same as
the Serial Number of your account and that is is encoded
on the form.
-
You have
saved the Checkout form within your web site directory. The
JAC Checkout form is directly uploaded to the JAC Network
system. Because of this, the Checkout form cannot be saved
within your
web site directoryit must be saved as a separate page
within a separate folder on your computer (we recommend saving
in within it's own folder on your desktop).
To
solve the problem, remove the Checkout form from your web site
directory and re-save it as recommended then upload the Checkout
form to the JAC Networks

**Invalid Class String**
This error is
generated by FrontPage®. It may appear when a button
is inserted in your page or if any other button is clicked
on within the JAC program. To correct the problem, click
on the "Detect and Repair" option found in the
Help section of FrontPage®. If this does not correct
the problem you will have to remove FrontPage® from
your hard drive and then reinstall it.

When I click on the Continue Shopping link, it takes me
to a "Page
Cannot be Found" error
If you are unable to view the page you were shopping from when
clicking the Continue Shopping link, check to make sure all your
web pages are saved in all lower case letters. Browsers read
information in all lower case letters. If your pages are saved
with Upper Case
letters, the browser cannot find the page it is being directed
to because it is attempting to read the page address and looking
for lower case letters. To solve the problem you should rename
your pages with all lower case letters.
If you do not want
to rename the pages you can enter a URL address in the Continue
Shopping area of your purchase button found under the "Personalization" tab. Your
customer will then be directed to the page you indicate when
clicking on the Continue Shopping link.

The JAC Serial Number that installed on my machine is not the
correct purchased serial number
When you install or reinstall JAC on your machine and you have
an existing JAC Serial number (that you've been using as a Demo
or that you've purchased) it is VERY important that you select
the "Add Previous License (Registered License)" option
in the JAC License Manager. This clears the Serial number field
allowing you to enter your existing JAC Serial number. If you
do not select this option, a new Demo number will be installed
on
your machine for you. This can cause many problems and much confusion.
To solve the problem, Launch JustAddCommerce within your editor,
access the JAC License Manager within the JAC Administration
button, click the Add New
License button (on the left directly below the "Current Licenses" tab.),
then select the "Add Previous License (Registered License)" option.
Enter your existing JAC Serial number and save it by clicking the green check
mark on the bottom right portion of the page. Once you've added your existing
JAC Serial number, click the "Set Current" button to set it as
the current license. Lastly, highlight the JAC Serial number that you are
not using
and click the Trash button to delete it from your JAC program.

Common Error Messages with Dreamweaver MX
If you receive error messages when trying to execute a JAC function
in Dreamweaver MX (for example: TypeError: jacdw.EditViewShop is
not a function), it is because the JAC version that is installed
on your computer does not support Dreamweaver MX. Check to make
sure you have the most current version of JAC for Dreamweaver installed
on your machine. The most current version is JAC Version 5.0.5.1.
Versions earlier than 5.0.5.1 do not support Dreamweaver MX.
To solve the problem, remove the JustAddCommerce program from
Dreamweaver following the directions below then download the
most recent version from our web site.
If currently own a copy of JAC or you have been using a Demo version, be
sure to add the JAC Serial number of the copy you've been using
in the "Add
Previous License" portion of the JAC License Manager.

Shipping Changes are not being uploaded after I enter the information
in my Shipping Settings
If you are having problems with your shipping changes not taking
effect, it is more than likely due to the removal of the yellow
and black button holders that JAC inserts into the Checkout form.
These buttons should appear when you open your Checkout form
in your editor (these buttons will not appear when you preview
your
Checkout form in your browser or when you view your Checkout
form via your web site):
Do Not remove these buttons when editing your Checkout form. These
buttons are necessary in order for the shipping information to
appear on your form. If you remove them, your shipping will not
calculate. If these buttons have been removed, solve the problem
by creating a New checkout form and upload the new form to the
JAC Networks.

Checkout Form is not Showing as Secure
Your site probably uses frames, and the browser does not display
it as secured.
You should always use tables instead of frames because most browsers
will only display a "locked" key when all frames are being served from a secured server.
Since only your JustAddCommerce pages are secured, you should avoid frames.
We recommend that you replace the frames with tables (you can get the same
look) and your customer's browser will always display the secured "locked key" when
they are ordering. If you must use frames, then all of your web site must
be located on a secured SSL server, which will make viewing slower for your
users.
Please Note: Look at Amazon.com, CDNow.com, and the other large commerce sites
and you'll see that they don't use frames for these reasons.

UPS Weight Error
Error: The maximum per package weight for that service from the
selected country is 150 pounds.
UPS will only ship a total of 150 lbs. Because
JAC does not know how your items will be packaged it combines
the total order weight
not the individual packaged weight. If you have a lot of heavy
items you might want to reconsider using the UPS option as your
shipping option. If all the items purchased combine a total
weight over 150 lbs. the customer will not be able to complete
the order.

Clicking the Browsers back button increases the item quantity
The first time this site is accessed the cookie has to be set.
The cookie is not set until after an item has been first placed
in the shipping cart and until the shopping is completed. To make
sure that the quantity does not change you must use the continue
shopping link not the browsers Back button.
